We want as much coziness as can in our home during the fall season. Candles are a must for autumn. They bring warmth and comfort in the room. That why I present you how to make them even more enjoyable and prettier.
All you need:
> A big candle
> Second candle and a light
> A napkin and scissors
> Old metal spoon
1. Choose a napkin. I recommend to use one with similar colours to your candle. Accord your choice with your home décor and interior. I chose a napkin with golden ornaments. Actually, you can make a decorated candle for any occasion and holiday.
2. Choose witch part of the napkin you are going to use. Cut it out. Remove all back layers of the napkin. Work only with the upper one.
3. Arrange your elements on the candle. That way you could see where they will be. Try different variations and choose the best. I chose to do a centered golden accent and it was an easy one, but working with something more difficult like flowers could be tricky.
4. Light up the second candle. Put the spoon over it and warm it up. Hold it for 30 sec. Instead of second candle you can just use a light, but I think that an other candle placed in a holder is definitely easier method.
5. Remove the spoon from the candle and start to press slightly the napkin into the big candle. Use light slow motion. Repeat this process until you cover the whole napkin element. The warmth of the spoon melts the candle and the napkin just stick to the surface of the candle. And as you can see the background of the napkin disappears. Only the golden parts are still there. The end results are very beautiful.
