I really like druzy jewelry! But sometimes natural stones could be way too expensive. That’s why I present you an alternative idea that is totally customizable!
All you need:
> Glass pieces or glass bottle
> Old newspaper and hammer
> Pendant bases and a necklace chain
> Moment glue
> Nail polishes
1. Take a walk at the beach or pier and look for glass pieces in the sand. You can also brake glass bottle. I chose to use brown and green glass because they are very natural colours, which I like. However, it`s not necessary to look for a certain colour because we are going to paint them later.
2. Clean the glass pieces and put them between two old newspapers. Brake the glass using the hammer into little pieces. Be careful!
3. Apply some moment glue over the pendant base and quickly add the little glass pieces.
4. Shake it to fall the unglued pieces. Then apply some more glue and repeat to make a 3D effect.
5. When everything is done you can paint the glass, using some nail polishes. I chose silver and brown to keep up with the natural theme. The sand polishes are best for this!
6. Finally, when the polish is dry, put some chain to complete the necklace. And you are done!
