Tobias van Schneider is a German multi-disciplinary maker of useful, curious and beautiful things.
(he just doesn’t like the word entrepreneur) Originally born in Germany, and raised in Austria, he now lives and works in New York City. Tobias’ journey is a little different than most. This is one of the reasons I chose him. He had a quite long period of finding his way. His path is full of hard times and failures but this guy never gives up. After opening his own design studio, Tobias had the honor to develop products and services in a wide range of categories for companies such as Red Bull, Google, BMW, Wacom, Sony, Fantasy Interactive, Stinkdigital, 
Toyota, Ralph Lauren, Bwin. He is now a designer, founder, speaker, mentor and maker.
Tobias has helped building new products as Art Director & Lead Product Designer at Spotify. His work for Spotify is my favorite one of his portfolio. It really makes you explore and enjoy the music, which is the idea behind this platform.
Another reason that I was dragged to this designer is his ability to improve everything everywhere he go. To be able to see the weak spots and to find a way to fix it is a crucial skill!
I opt for Tobias Van Schneider with a reason. He is an amazing artist, with various work types, but all aesthetically pleasing, pushing to act of exploration. I enjoy simple art with a strong influence feeling. Although he has much to show, with his powerful mind-set he has also much to say! This is the reason I chose Disegno – a magazine that is “for reading” .
