More storage

You need more storage space? Make yourself a beautiful vintage storage box.
All you need:
> shoebox
> masking tape
> paint
> old belt
> cardboard or another shoebox
> foam paper/napkins/decoration paper

I’ve got a lot of shoeboxes at home but they’re all glossy and the paint doesn’t cover them up. At first I tried sanding the box but that was a bad idea. So I overlaid the shoebox with masking tape. It’s quick and easy. And because of my good luck, with masking tape the box looked more wooden-like. When ready, paint the box in wooden colours using brighter and darker stripes. Cut 4 front corners from another shoebox or make them yourself from cardboard, then paint them. While waiting for the paint to dry, measure the box’s dimensions and cut the right sized piece of the belt. You need 2 longer and 2 smaller pieces. You can see on the picture where you need to put them. Be careful! You don’t have many chances. Then glue the belt pieces to the box using glue gun. I LOVE THE GLUE GUN! Glue also the corners using white glue. Decorate the box inside with foam paper, napkins or decoration paper. Add some details and your vintage storage box is ready!
