BirthDay card

A friend of mine asked me to make this beautiful card for the upcoming birthday of her mom. I believe that a handmade card is always better than one from the store. Of course, nor everyone could spent their free time for crafting. That is why today I present you how to make quick and easy (no more than 45 min.) birthday card.

All you need:
> White cardstock A4
> Smaller piece of white cardstock
> Flowers template and printer
> A piece of cardboard
> Scissors, ruler and a pencil

1. Start by folding your A4 piece in two. If your paper is thick you can score the cardstock in the middle to fold it better. To do that simply put the ruler in the exact middle as a guide. Then make a line using the top of the scissors.

2. From the smaller piece of white cardstock cut out a 12×17 cm rectangle. It will go in the center of the card.

3. The next step is to make the flowers. I have already draw them for you. All you need to do is just print them. You can download the PDF file from HERE.

4. Then cut them out as you leave a white boarder around.

5. Glue a piece of the cardboard on the back of the big red flower, the smaller pink one and on the bigger leaf on the left side. That way the card will be like 3D.

6. Start gluing the flowers on the smaller white cardstock. The long peachy flower is first. Then it is turn for the pink one like here put glue only on the cardboard part. Repeat the same process with the biggest flower. Finally, glue the leaves by shoving them under the flowers.

7. I know that a few of us have a beautiful hand writing. Don’t worry – I got your back! Print the label you want to put. Make it in 6×4 cm size. Cut it out. Hatch the back of the label with the pencil. Then turn it out with the right side facing you and put it wherever you want on the white paper. Then using the pencil simply repeat over text and it will transfer on the white cardstock on which we glued the flowers. Then repeat over the transferred text with a pen. I used golden gel pen.

8. And you final step is to glue the smaller white piece of paper in the center of the folded A4 piece. And you are done!

And don’t forget to share with me your recreations on Instagram with #yhour or on my FB page.
