Honestly I`m totally obsessed of those comfy and loose boho clothes and my favourite part of this style is the kimono. The perfect accent of an outfit! But I wouldn’t really give between 20 and 100 £ for one just because I found a way to create my own cheap kimono. I haven’t had an appropriate shirt for this DIY so I went shopping at my favourite second hand and thrift shop. There I found the perfect shirt with indie motives. If you want to have your own kimono too:
All you need:
> Loose T-shirt with interesting print /use an old one or buy from second hand shop/
> a pair of scissors
> dish, cover pot…
> chalk or water based marker
> iron machine
First cut in the middle only the front part of the T-shirt. Iron well shoulders of the T-shirt. Put it on you and mark with chalk where you want your shoulders holes to start and end. Put the dish so its endpoints to match with already marked ones. Outline the dish with the chalk. Cut and repeat with the other shoulder. Et voila! Now you have your own kimono – perfect with swimsuit or top for cooler summer nights.
Quick tip — If you want your kimono to be longer use dress instead of T-shirt
